BMW X7 M40
The X7 M40 is BMW's largest SUV in its most usable form — three rows of seats and a turbocharged straight-six that's quick without being a fuel hog.
Booked most often for group airport transfers and family trips where seven seats genuinely get used, rather than folded flat for cargo — it's the practical end of the X7 range.
At 1,400 AED/day, it undercuts the more powerful X7 M60 by 200 AED while offering nearly identical passenger space — worth considering if outright power isn't the priority.
It isn't the quickest car in our fleet on paper — 6.1 seconds to 100 km/h — but all-wheel drive and an automatic gearbox make the 340 HP easy to use in real traffic rather than just on a spec sheet, which matters more than a stopwatch time on most bookings.
Expect a 5,000 AED deposit on collection, released 20–30 days later once the fine-publication window closes. Extra kilometres beyond the daily 250 km allowance are charged at 10 AED each, which is worth planning around if the trip involves a longer drive out of the city.
